What is a Walker Friendly Pub?

       The landlord should be prepared to display Ramblers membership leaflets. 

       There should be facilities for muddy boots. 

       The car park should be made available for organised walks from the pub. 

       Posters should be displayed showing details of such walks.

 We have already approached a few pubs and they have been very helpful. So a number of short walks have been arranged from pubs in the current programme. These walks should be attractive to members who can't find the time for long walks or want to start to walk in a group. We are hoping to attract new members to our Group.
